Undead Aerobic is an interesting, surreal piece. Created by Dekret, this video is a mini-frame story. Essentially, Lamron, a human from Stormwind, has managed to score a gnomish VCR. He pops the tape in and watches an undead doing aerobics.
This is an interesting foray into a first machinima. The aerobics show off the range of motion and poses Dekret can achieve in his videos, without being forced to create a plot that conforms to any limitations Dekret might in his extant skills.
This is an exciting first entry into machinima, and I hope to see Dekret do a lot more.

But it didn't really hold my interest. I found myself very bored about halfway through .. but kept watching hoping something was going to happen to liven things up, which never happened.
Perhaps it's the music, or the over repetitiveness of the undead animation. Not sure. Clearly the artist was going for a surreal and they accomplished that.
agreed. I found my self skipping ahead to see if any changes had occurred. Normally I love surreal videos but this one was, as you said too repetitive.
The music was perfect, and I agree that it was more Tai Chi-esque. The subtle movement of hands, fingers, wrist, and the tilt of the head, and the way these work together with the quicker sweep and the slower pause of each exercise looked like Tai-Chi. The names of the movements made me grin. The Face Slap, Tarren Wheel and Amani Snake. The guy's face at the end LOL
o.0? Okay, normally I'm all-over surreal stuff but this one lost me. Perhaps it is my overall dislike of the Forsaken ;).
Kudos on the technical work though. Musically, I'm fond of old-school jazz rather than this frees-style, pretentious stuff but oddly, it fits this piece. :)

Yeah, my wife and I were thinking the same thing... aerobics is more about getting your blood pumping... which must be hard for an undead. :)

To be honest I was expecting it to be more like an 80's/90's morning workout show with the fast music and a women in a leotard screaming instructions.
Pretty cool though, looking forward to more.

It just wasn't really my cup of tea.

Still great for a first though ^_^

Technically, it's done exceptionally well. I'm just not feeling the purpose of it, I guess.
I'll watch it again later; perhaps it's a multiple viewing thing.

Technically very well done. However, I found myself wishing the undead was instead a Blood Elf.
Nearly naked.
Rapping.

Am I the only one who loved the music?
