Something that struck me is this.
Everywhere else, Orcs have ferocious looking boars in their pig pens.
In Northrend, the pig pen where they keep the Alliance deserters , they keep adorable pink piggies.
This suggests Orcs actually imported special humilation pigs to Northrend when the first deserters were found. To suggest they weren't manly enough to be stored using proper, manly Horde pigs.
Later, these pigs will be turned into sadness bacon.
