Around Azeroth: A hazy shade of summer
Scourgecandy of Legendary Incompetence on Scilla (US-H) writes, "Arathi has long been one of my favorite zones, but for none of the reasons on display in this shot. The cold, pale dread I see in this picture is in stark contrast to the beauty and the sun and the green that I think of when I think of the Arathi Highlands. I also really like the parallel lines between the staff, and the sun and shadow orb. And the layering; as if the layering of the fore-, mid- and backgrounds wasn't great enough, she's in Shadowform to boot!"

this is an exceptional screen shot! could have been dumb luck, or it could be that Scourgecandy is a great photographer. Either way I am totally going to practice my photo composition in wow now. What an awesome way to hone one of the more tricky skills in photography!
Thanks for the inspiration

Wow, thank you so much. Kind words :)
I toy with screenshots a lot. I know a good shot when I see it but getting what I want is not always the easiest thing; the timing/placement of the shadow orbs was an exercise in patience though luckily not in futility. This is certainly one of my more successful attempts.

Look around
Leaves are brown
and the sky
is a hazy shade of... shadow priest.
