If they intend to release SW:TOR any time after October, they'll have to deal with the hype surrounding what many believe will be a new WoW expansion announcement at BlizzCon anyway.Though I think they may be waiting until after BlizzCon to announce their release date simply so they can have their "big announcement" be the most recent one on people's minds.

I think it's too early for hints at a new WoW expansion. While I wouldn't be surprised at the release of information regarding the future content of Cataclysm, I'm expecting either Heart of the Swarm or Diablo 3 to take center stage at BlizzCon this year.

@MorticusBlizz has announced a new expansion at every Blizzcon that immediately follows an expansion release. WotLK was announce less then 8 months after BC launched. Cata followed WotLK by 9 months. If they wait till Blizzcon this year it'll be 10 months after Cata. I would put money down on them announcing an expansion at Blizzcon this year.

You also have to reminder that base on the "leak document" that is look more and more like a real blizzard document that we might get the new xp Q4 of next year. If true they will have announce it at blizzcon .
