I see a couple of things in the pipeline. 1st would be a release date of roughly 10/20 (that would be a hoot). Second, rift did a large series of closed betas and they launched what is by and large the most polished mmo yet. And third, swtor by it's nature is going to cause trion and blizzard a heart attack when it comes out.

I know it's anecdotal but casual players in WoW are fed up. Fargo has put out that blizzard has finally remembered them after 5 yrs. But it's too little to late I think. Trion has a fun game but it's fantasy, swtor is scifi. It's going to be a whole new world soon n
