@Lazerbyte: The difference between cars and subscription-based MMOs is that you can't cancel your subscription with your car. Once you buy that car, you've bought the car. As for MMOs, you have continually keep your audience interested in your product, or *they won't keep buying it*. That's the thing with MMOs--you can't sell just once, have *one big wave of hype* and expect people to *stay* fixated on your game, because that's unrealistic.
I'm sorry, but that was a terrible analogy.
