Eh... I don't think realism is really... WoW. I mean, I do like flight form, but travel form is so... boring. It's the same as the cheetah models in the game, so despite it being more realistic, it's also really, really uninteresting (personal opinion). Then again, I'm one of those people who like Neon Explosion!Kitty (troll), so obviously I dig the stylistic art. But WoW is an MMO with a very... cartoonish style overall, and I think that's what makes it so attractive, for me. It's not all brown and green, like more realistic games... the ground can be purple, or blue, and people can turn into bears and stuff...
