As a MM raider / BM pvper, i would LOVE to see BM as a more viable raiding spec. There are certain talents in the BM tree that need tweaking, for one, the proc from killing streak needs to have a longer duration, even if only buffed to 12 seconds or so, giving a bigger window to time your procs. Oh, and frosts idea of the ability 'Stampede' (link below if you didnt see it) would be nice please GC :P

um, BM is perfectly viable in raids. there is some performance variance depending on the mechanics from fight-to-fight, but BM is much stronger and more versatile that i think you're giving it credit.
IN fact, in ten man raids, being BM allows me to fulfill a third tank role (Nef, Halfus, Argaloth) in addition to high dps levels.
Perhaps the highest of the high end raiding guilds would prohibit a BM build in favour of MM, but for the vast majority of talented raid teams, BM is no weak sister.

I hate to say it, but the fact that you're BM doesn't affect your ability to be an offtank in those 10man fights.
I do it all the time on my MM hunter :3
