Another vote for sword, board and rage. Although Cata's re-tree-ing changed this, there was something resonant about a class that had no threat dump, minimal self-healing, no back up and no less than 2 moves whose only purpose was to get you into the big bad's jaws of crunching death *faster*.

You picked your battles. You killed or you died. And you went through a hell of a lot of bandaids.
