No class is useless in the hands of a skilled player. Hunters have a lot of quirks, a lot of bugs, a lot of redundancy, a lot of stupid restrictions and a lot of WTF talents, but they are playable in arenas and RBGs. They are not FotM or nearly as strong as several other classes (I won't name names) but I'd take a good Hunter over a bad any day. Same with Ele Shaman, Combat Rogue and Balance Druid (all three of which are in a worse place than any of our specs except perhaps Survival).

The only way to be truly optimum is to play a FotM spec. FotMs are FotM for a reason. Bads label everything but the FotM 'useless' and beg for buffs. And the arms race goes on...

Who wouldn't take a good player over a bad one? The problem is if there is a good mage and a good hunter, the hunter will not ever be chosen because they are a liability.

You can down vote me all you want and say hat I need to learn to play, but the absolute fact is that Hunters are the lowest CLASS, not spec, in RBGs and Arena's. They have been the last or 2nd to last since season 1. You can't say that all hunters are simply doing it wrong.

Look dude, being least represented doesn't equate to broken. One class will always be highest representation and one will be lowest, that's all there is to it. Hunters now require (*gasp!*) some skill to play. You can no longer volley and auto shot your way to the top. Does your class have its quirks and issues? Yes, so do the other 9. Are you screwed up to unplayability? Not by a long shot. What you ate whining about (and yes you are whining and that's why you're getting down ranked) is not Blizzard's problem. You simply need to L2P or go buy Rift.

Hunters have the most overpowered CC in arena right now. If you think hunters are bad for pvp, you must be some otherworldly kind of terrible.

You guys are funny. Yes, I am whining. My favorite class is being excluded from competitive PvP. Blizz says to play RBGs, because hunters aren't meant for arena. Well, we are even being excluded from them now.

I am wasting my time trying to inform ignorant people who have never even played competitive pvp with a hunter.

Most OP CC in the game? it requires 4 button presses to land, plus it can be resisted and there is nothing that can be done about it. Every other class has point and click CC. 1 button. Have you even played a hunter before?
