Volcanic potions are still better in every scenario over mana potions. Int is king. Not only for the obvious reasons (harder hitting arcane blasts), but the not so obvious reasons of larger ticks via mage armor and a scaled up evocate.

If you're correctly entering a burn phase when your raid pops bl/hero, volcanic pots during this phase trumps all.
