Honestly, any of the classes that come on here and say that "OMG HPAL OP NOW" really doesn't understand how this mastery works or how the class mechanics work. Just today I had a guildie tell me that "now you have a mini Val'anyr". What I had to tell him is that it doesn't work with 60% of my total healing and that to switch to mastery would be too much of a loss in HPS to switch. Bottom line, with the toolbox the Holy Paladin has, they are incredibly reliant on haste. There's really no way around it. Our core heals (DL, HR, and HL) all require a good chunk of haste to get you to a correct HPS. In sacrificing haste for mastery, we ultimately lose HPS and don't gain enough in HPM to justify it.
