Is there an addon that basically hides, colors or dims out unusable, already known, or already owned items on vendors? Part of my loathing of the JC daily/token system is deciding what to buy from the five pages of recipes

I know there used to be one way back when because I had it. I think I've lost it to numerous expansions and patches over the years though. Hopefully someone else will be able to tell you (and me!) what it was because I know it would overlay a color on the vendor's item to let you know if you knew it, could learn it, couldn't learn it or already had it somewhere in a bag.I think (not sure if it was the same addon) it also told you when you could learn a recipe you had stored in your bank/bags/whatever. That was much more important back in the day, of course, when a lot of the more useful recipes were rare spawns on a single vendor somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Altoholic does this for me, coloring recipes, and also showing which alts could use an item (really useful for glyphs)

Recipe known fixes your problem...easy to use no setup...there is Ackis list but that has to scan all the time which to me is annoying at best....
