"Don't sell large amounts of stuff in quantities of 1. First off, it annoys people. It annoys people so much, in fact, that buyers are willing to pay a significant premium just to avoid buying your auctions."
SO GLAD to finally see that in this column. IIRC, the usual Gold Capped writer (Basil somebody?) is one of the proponents of that obnoxious method.

Some are. I will probably just buy it all. Auctioneer can be set up to let you auto-buy with a shift-click, and I will hoover up the first few pages of cheap singles like that before buying the 20 stacks, and get the best of both worlds.
What is annoying, though you can't really blame the people abusing the bad interface, is the fact some people post pages of singles priced WAY above what the stacks cost, knowing full well that the default interface shows their stuff first.
A nice easy "sort by price per item" option would fix it all of course...

@xiani:
You can sort by price per item or price per stack if you run Auctioneer. (I run that and Auctionator side-by-side.) But I assume you're talking about the default interface, and I agree. The whole thing is a clunky mess that could use some serious overhaul. I don't understand how anyone gets buy without using at least one AH addon.
