This was really just a story about how I made it to the gold cap -- I don't seriously expect anyone to be able to replicate what I did the way I did it because:
(1) Darkmoon Card prices are going to plunge once patch 4.2 comes out and they're no longer best-in-slot for a number of specs, and
(2) Mentioning any market in Gold Capped seems to ruin that market.

On my server, selling Darkmoon Cards and Mysterious Fortune Cards worked well. It was a high volume market (compared to supply, at least), and competition was low. That combination almost always leads to tremendous profits. The key is to find the items on your server with that magical combination, and exploit the living hell out of them.
