Nerfing Drain Life for locks is killing us in pvp. Even without using the "intended hard cast" of SB, we're supplemental at best during hard fights in zones with little room for successful teleports and LOS. Bad move.

I feel like your problems could be solved more by Sun Tzu quotes than by getting more damage out of one spell if you get caught out in open enough to be that worried about it.
