Patch 4.2 Rage of the Firelands trailer now live
Hot off of the official World of Warcraft Youtube channel, we have the official patch 4.2 trailer, and it's a doozy. Our favorite ex-Warchief, Go'el (you know him better as Thrall, no doubt) faces off against the Firelord himself, and we get to see exactly what Rag has in store for not only Mount Hyjal and the World Tree but the entire world. Death, destruction, all that kind of thing. It's an elemental donnybrook.
I gotta say, that's one heck of a well executed trailer. Hearkens back to the Gods of Zul'Aman and the Black Temple trailer for sheer awesome, and those were two of my absolutely favorite patch trailers. I'm excited. Let's go save the world, everybody.
The news is already rolling out for the upcoming WoW Patch 4.2! Preview the new Firelands raid, marvel at the new legendary staff, and get the inside scoop on new quest hubs -- plus new Tier 12 armor!

Aggra is Hawt
kurrgan Jun 16th 2011 4:01AM
I'd hit that.
Luke Jun 16th 2011 4:51AM
Me: "Hey baby, is the key to your heart purple?"
Aggra: < sighs and shakes her head > ...
Me: "Cause that -axe- of yours is epic."

@kurrgan
What, with a a baseball bat?
Amaxe Jun 16th 2011 8:33AM
@Luke
totally off topic, but how did you manage to pull off the greater than/less than without getting your words eaten?
Dave Jun 16th 2011 10:43AM

But why does she sound like a Draenei?
Wulfkin Jun 16th 2011 11:12AM
Orc women are the best. They're hot, curvy and can cleave your enemies in two!
Knob Jun 16th 2011 2:07PM
@Auden: She doesn't sound like a Draenei actually. Draenei females sound Eastern European while Aggra's was more like an Indian accent.
Skarn Jun 16th 2011 2:31PM
A-ha! Thanks, Dave!
I am unashamedly posting to "save" those. :)

My thought when I hear the female draenei voice is of Natasha Badenov...
"We killink moose und squirrel now darlink?"

That trailer is indeed epic. I haven't seen one that pumped me up like that in quite some time. No worries, we got this guys!
On a side note, am I the only shaman lady who is a bit jealous of Aggra getting to cuddle up to Thrall? I know the world is in peril and all, but I couldn't help thinking "D'awww" at the end there.
gazman42 Jun 16th 2011 6:45AM
I'm not female, but Thrall does look cuddley :D
Revnah Jun 16th 2011 8:01AM
Thrall is THE hottest male character in WoW, period. Dang that Aggra :-D
Dave Jun 16th 2011 10:47AM
@revnah He may have been. But then they put Nozdormu in this patch.
Nagaina Jun 16th 2011 11:14AM
@ Dave ~
So true. Oh so very true.
Wulfkin Jun 16th 2011 10:43PM
Seriously? The skinny guy with the goatee?
Thrall has rugged manliness, who also has a sensitive side when he's not busy saving the world. How can you beat that?
Biskit333 Jun 16th 2011 3:55AM
I'm proud to be a shaman again.
Xotzalqual Jun 16th 2011 9:02AM
I second that remark... ofcourse, I've always been proud to be a shaman (hands down the best class).
Man, that trailer got me so pumped about the new patch, I can't wait!!!

I'm Alliance. Since Stormwind became the poster capital for Deathwing's destruction, I'll admit seeing Org hit by a tsunami of fire gave me the happies this morning. Sorry, Hordies ;)
Also; my main is a human warrior tank. Thrall looks more human than he does, barring the green skin and canines. Come on Blizz, it's about time the player models got the same love as Azeroth's superstars.
