Rezai asks:
Question: What did Sacco do to Anne; that she no longer comes on the podcast?

Sacco hasn't done anything to me at all. Except neglect my existence. I'll be over here crying in the corner. :(
Seriously though, usually if someone asks for a particular writer to be on the WoW Insider Show, the hosts will do their best to get that writer on the podcast. So in other words, if you'd like to hear me, or anyone else from the esteemed WoW Insider staff for that matter, drop the hosts an email and let them know about it!
Flarebear asks:
I recently went through Hyjal on my new warrior, and when I hit the quest Aesinna's Miracle (the one where the mountain turns all green and stuff) there was a little cutscene where Aesinna talked to my warrior. I don't remember this part being in it when I leveled my other characters through Hyjal. Did they add this cutscene in a recent patch or am I just going crazy?
You are absolutely sane, Flarebear. The cutscene has been there since beta, however the last step of the quest involved turning the quest in to Hamuul Runetotem. He was over waiting for players at Aesinna's shrine, but the quest helper pointed players back to Malorne's shrine instead. The issue's been fixed now, but a large chunk of players missed out on that very cool -- and pretty important -- cutscene when Cataclysm released.
Ehiz asks:
Question: Is the Ice Lord Ahune going to be updated with cata equivalent gear or at least with one of the PVE currency?
More than likely. We've seen hints of updated loot datamined from here and there, and it's not really likely that Blizzard would leave in an old boss with old gear -- nobody would bother with the holiday content. ... now if the Ice Lord would be kind enough to drop a pet for me this year, I'd be happy.
Strawder asks:
Question for the Queue: What's happened to the Blue Child? I remember the days seeing it and the White Lady up in the sky in Azeroth, but apart from some official artwork and things like Ulduar, the Blue Child is totally forgotten.
Any information on what's happened to it insomuch as its disappearance in WoW? Did Blizzard remove it on purpose or was it a graphical glitch as is commonly believed? And if it is a glitch, why don't they fix it?
According to a fanciful GM, the Blue Child was "sent away by the Earthmother to learn about the universe" just before The Burning Crusade. I wouldn't take that as written lore, however. If I remember correctly, the Blue Child disappeared when they added weather effects to vanilla zones in patch 1.10.0 -- I could be wrong, however. Regardless, I think the Blue Child was removed due to graphic errors of one kind or another.
Alternatively, the Exodar took it out during their abrupt collision with Azeroth.
Kurtzilla1111 asks:
I've vaguely heard rumors of Algalon's return. Do these rumors hold any merit?
Depends on where you heard the rumors. The last issue of the World of Warcraft comics series was a "special issue" that featured an introduction of sorts to a "new" series -- one that would follow various characters of the Horde and Alliance. Not major lore figures, but everyday citizens like the characters you and I play. Algalon made an appearance in this issue, observing these everyday characters and trying to muddle out just what makes the mortals of Azeroth tick.
Given his last words after his defeat in Ulduar, it's kind of implied we might see him again -- but there's been nothing confirmed. As with any rumor, unless it's out of the mouth of a developer, consider it nothing more than speculation.
areohbeebeewhy asks:
Q fo' da Q: In regards to speaking about certain versions of WoW, how did the original WoW game come to be knows as "Vanilla"?
World of Warcraft by itself is the plain, original version of the game. WoW on its own is vanilla, like vanilla ice cream, and each additional expansion offers a new and exciting flavor. I don't know about you, but I was a fan of The Burning Crusade flavor. Tasted kinda like a rainbow sorbet.
Oh let's answer one more, just because I'm feeling chatty!
Scott asks:
Question for the Q: To combat my distaste for repetitive dailies and bad pugs, i have recently rolled an Undead Warrior to visit the "new" quest experiences of Post-Cataclysm Azeroth. While avenging the Tauren slain in the Barrens, I was tasked with heading into the embers of Camp Taurajo and dispatching the miserable looters. To my surprise, I discovered something that i had to ask you about:
Why the HECK is there still a working mailbox in the middle of Camp Taurajo?
I enjoy getting my Auction House profits in a timely fashion as much as anyone, but... really? Talk about breaking the flow...
Because neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, nor the winds of change, nor a massive firebombing from encroaching Alliance will stay the postmasters of Azeroth from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. Plus those mailboxes? They're built tough. Horde tough.
And I'm outta here!

Only T11 that currently can be obtained can be purchased with points.
But they are nerfing T11 raids, so should you desire shoulders and head piece it shouldn't be that hard to grab one now if you werent able to do so in the past.

You will still need the tokens that drop from Nef, and Cho (i.e. head and shoulders). It's not honor btw, it's justice points, but I think you knew that and typed it wrong. :)

I want Archmage Pants on the show!
Revnah Jun 16th 2011 11:25AM
This!!
Chris Jun 16th 2011 11:38AM
I, like all warlocks (and some tanks), want a No Pants show
Stenenis Jun 16th 2011 11:41AM
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and YES!!!
The show needs Archmage Pants' (Arcane) Brilliance to counteract the brute strength that is the Mighty Warrior Rossi.
and warlock hate, can never have too much of that
Stenenis Jun 16th 2011 11:43AM

I want a show with Dawn Moore vs Fox Van Allen!
anuillae Jun 16th 2011 12:04PM
Damn. You beat me to it.
Pyromelter Jun 16th 2011 1:21PM
Christian was on once, I think back in the Mike Schramm days. He was awesome. Get him on the show, please.
Other good pairings:
Tyler Carraway and Allison Robert (druid people)
The 3 shaman columnists
Chase Christian
I second the notion for dawn and fox.
Frostheim and Shade - just because both are awesome podcasters and I wanna hear em together on wow insider.
Also, any other warrior, just because I wanna hear Rossi talk about warrior face-smashing with another warrior.

just general question:
few Q articles back some complain was addressed as "loud minority" complain
how can you tell if certain complain is justified or loud minority ?
Ata Jun 16th 2011 12:27PM
When you get thousands upon thousands of pages talking about something to the point that it hits the news (IE, Real Name shennanagins) that's pretty clearly -not- a vocal minority. If it's a lot of people whining that mages are too powerful in pvp or death knights need to be nerfed, it's probably a vocal minority griping. Blizzard has to take it each on a case by case basis and look at things like if there was a noteable subscription drop (like so many said they did during the Wrath opener) or if it is seriously polarizing the fanbase, but if you ask your guild and most of them disagree with the current big hoo-haa, then it's probably a vocal minority bitching.
Pyromelter Jun 16th 2011 1:29PM
As an example of what Ata is saying, the RealID thread on the old forums was about 160 pages long within like an hour of the news coming down. I think it ended up with something like 4,000 posts.
Another way to know whether it's just the "vocal minority" or not is when you have respected bloggers talking about stuff. You rarely see good bloggers (like Restokin's Lissana) complaining about how things are so ezmode, or are too hard. There are common troll-type statements that you see, especially on mmo-champ, where many posts are like "lolpve" and "wow is ezmode for casuals." That's the vocal minority right there.
Eirik Jun 16th 2011 4:18PM
" I think it ended up with something like 4,000 posts."
Oh, far more than that. And that was only the main thread.
Andostre Jun 16th 2011 11:13AM
I love the revamped character pane. I especially love the DPS stat as it seems to be calculated using everything from your base stats (Strength, Intellect, etc.) that translate directly into attack/spell power & crit and the secondary stats (attack/spell power, haste, hit, crit, penetration). But can I get a confirmation on this? Does the DPS stat on your character pane really take into account all primary and secondary stats?
Knob Jun 16th 2011 11:19AM
Yes, it does. It even takes into account passive talents that you have that may affect a particular stat. For example, the Pathing talent for hunters provides passive haste...if you put points into it, that haste is calculated in the character pane's Haste field. The pane also takes into account temporary buffs, debuffs, procs that may increase or decrease a certain stat as long as the effect is active.
Andostre Jun 16th 2011 11:50AM
Thanks, that's good to know!
techvoodooguy Jun 16th 2011 11:13AM
