blizz got them to pull the non-official armory app because blizz was launching their own one. Offering a service at a cost which doesnt actually give anything which blizz doesnt give for free isnt going to go well.

Blizz are unlikely to offer a Mr Robot style app, as it's the kind of thing that they've said they won't directly support.
