The Daily Quest: Friends, family and food

I was a fan of the Fish Feast. Something about that cheery little fish platter was incredibly appealing -- I enjoyed putting them out, and I enjoyed sharing them with other people. However, Cataclysm's upgraded version, the Seafood Magnifique Feast? Not so much. Maybe it's the lack of a platter; maybe it's the lack of jauntily placed oranges as garnish. Or maybe it's the fact that I mentally picture 25 people circled around a bucket, politely apologizing to the live crab that calls said bucket his home before ripping his legs off and chowing down. I mean, really? Ew.
Today we've got a few posts from around the blogosphere about feasts, family, friends and other fun.
- Pugnacious Priest ponders the potential perks of persistently partaking in picnics with pals.
- Orcish Army Knife explains the ins and outs of guild cauldrons in 10-man raiding.
- Parallel Context considers the definition of friendship in the age of the MMO.
- Jed's Corner of WoW Shenanigans says a sad goodbye to an old, jingly, soon to be gone friend.

Oranges? Really? Lemon I get, but orange & fish?
Still, it is all citrus, perhaps the 'jauntiness' of the placement makes all the difference;)
That said, those fish aren't actually, well, *real* fish, so who knows what works...oh, wait RPS do:

Seriously. I have made this. It works, and then some!

I always imagine the live lobster is M. Pinchy's assistant, and he is actually handing out bite-sized snacks he cooked himself, so yes he lives in the bucket, and he's not being eaten, instead he gets to come back later when we have another feast. Thanks, M. Lobster Assistant!

Thanks for the link, Anne!
I'd also give a thumbs up to Rhii's guide to Weak Auras over at Oh My Kurenai. I don't play Shammys, but I enjoyed the article immensely.

I've been calling it "Ghostcrawler Stew". Funny, no one seems to feel guilty for chowing down after I say that. :3

For your consideration:
Following up on recent predictions about the next expansion, "Be Healed" has made a bold prediction of what it will be: Please come and find out more!

This was actually a follow-up to an earlier post that was more speculative and less predictive (is such a thing possible?) but we're still very proud of that one too!

I have two recent posts that I'd love to have featured:

One is a guide for the Outland Gourmet Achievement, and the other discusses ways for mages to reach the raiding hit cap.
Thanks!
