I'm not bothered by Thrall being in the spotlight. He's a very relatable character for both factions.
After all, Shaman are the iconic Horde class, so it would've been weird to have a Dwarven or Broken Shaman in charge, just as it would've been strange to see a Tauren or Blood Elf in charge of the Argent Crusade.
