Around Azeroth: You kill sixteen tons and what do you get?
I think we may have found an adequate dinner for the dragon in yesterday's post! Drahken of Live by Honor on Kalecgos (US-H) is having a little Oregon Trail flashback: "You shot 136,000 pounds of devilsaur, but could only carry 200 pounds back to your wagon."

I thought it was only 100 pounds in the original Oregon Trail? Either way, it was stupid you couldn't make multiple trips lol

In the original it was 100 by yourself, or 200 if you have multiple people.

The very second after I pressed the send button, I thought of noticed the similarity between Oregon and Ungoro. (flip it backwards and switch the U and N. Orogun.) But my caption made it in there anyway.
This was something that always plagued anyone who ever played Oregon Trail. You spent most of your time hunting, you down 10 buffalo in a single trip, but then you can only carry back 200 pounds. That was what most people were playing for anyway, the hunting. That and writing a funny tombstone after your entire party dies of dysentery (John has cholera. John has measles. John has taken a turn for the worse. John has gotten better. John has died of a broken leg.) or drowning (You NEVER caulk the wagon!). Poor "Peperoni and Cheese". He will will be missed.

Oregon Trail was the first video game that I actually really liked, and probably the reason I ever played WoW :P

I grew up /in/ Oregon, during the era when all the schools (and libraries) had Apple ][s. /Not/ playing Oregon Trail was not an option.
