I think there's a few videos on YouTube showing how to set up SUF, but I haven't seen anything else. It's pretty straightforward. What I have is the portrait, health bar w/ health text, power bar w/ power text, and the blank bar with level/race/class text.
The character/target name really makes the frames, though. For those, the text is associated with the unit frame as a whole, rather than to a bar. It's anchored outside the frame. I then made a gradient kgPanel parented & anchored to each unit frame. To find out the names, you can use the /framestack command, which shows frame names under your mouse cursor. I think it's in the default UI. I'll look at that plus what the SUF frames names are when WoW comes back up with 4.2.
Also, the SUF auras are completely turned off. I use Raven for all of the buff/debuff icons.
