The Queue: Does that movie even exist? Because it should.

You know what movie I want to watch?
Dune.
It's time for some 1980's Patrick Stewart and half-naked Sting.
Nichola D asked:
Will there ever be a Moose mount?
In game update 5.1, when we return to the desert moon of Endor, we will find out moose companion waiting for us to carry our Klingon logicians to Azeroth, all the while shouting Muad'Dib.
Lee asked:
Do you think they'll ease the iLvl restrictions in patch 4.2 for heroics and so forth since the difficulty is getting toned down?
No. The heroics are relatively easy right now, given the average gear level has increased quite a bit from what it was at the beginning of Cataclysm (at which point I contend they were actually overtuned a bit, or at least not in sync to what the majority of the player base was able to do). If you're having problems in heroics (non-ZA/ZG), it's likely because your group can't execute the fights properly, not because there's not enough DPS, HP, HPS, etc. Blizzard lowering the iLevel requirements would make DPS, HP, and HPS all become a big factor -- and I don't think many people want to play with folks in greens.
Getting an average of iLevel 329 gear isn't hard. I finished a few weeks ago leveling a warlock, and I was running heroics about two hours after I dinged 85 without buying any gear off the AH or crafting any of it. Run some normals, get the rep gear, and you'll be at 329 very, very fast.
Silentk asked:
Will you be able to upgrade crafted items to their heroic equivalent using the heroic upgrade drops in Firelands?
There are no upgradeable crafted items that I've seen in patch 4.2.
Threesixteen asked:
Best gray item ever?
The Broken I.W.I.N. Button.

What caused level 60 Onyxia to cast Deep Breath?
Knob Jun 21st 2011 11:11AM
Patches. Each patch made her Deep Breath more.

According to an article I read on WoWwiki a couple years ago, a dev fessed up that it was random.
Stabaa Jun 21st 2011 11:17AM
I heard it was the tone of voice of the raid leader on teamspeak, and whether or not he had techno music playing in the background.
eel5pe Jun 21st 2011 11:37AM
Not sure if this is a serious question or not =)
But it was proven once and for all that it was completely random at a Blizzcon panel where they displayed the creature file data for Onyxia. You can see a picture here: http://www.wowpedia.org/File:Onyxia_deep_breath_details.jpg

ee5pe, I'm thinking that creature info sheet was a joke. I've not been to BlizzCon, and I don't design monsters for videogames, but I really doubt there's a real datasheet for a monster that actually has question marks. Blizzard knows why Onyxia deep breaths and they know what probability she has of deep breathing more or less.
Anyway, everyone knows she deep breaths more when you stack Warlocks.

"I'm thinking that creature info sheet was a joke."
That was my reaction to seeing it. Unless they specifically said something about it while showing the slide, I'm guessing that was more to poke fun at the deep breath theories and myths that had already existed. Is there any more information about that presentation anywhere? Video perhaps?
Telke Jun 21st 2011 7:27PM
If I recall right, the theory that sounded most correct was that every ~60 seconds (I think) Onyxia would move - and that move had:
35% chance of moving left around the cave
35% chance of moving right
and a 30% chance of being a Deep Breath - shifting her straight to the other side of the cave.
I can't remember the exact time, but I think she moves every 60sec. and 30% chance allows for double-breaths, enough of the time for it to seem really random.

Whatever happened to the column The Art of War(craft) and the writer who did it, Zach Yonzon?
Grokmar Jun 21st 2011 11:18AM
No telling. He abandoned his webcomic without explanation well over a year ago as well (pretty sure it's the same guy). Sad, really. It was well written and drawn.
Task Jun 21st 2011 11:23AM
@North and Grokmar
The most likely explanation is that since he lives in the Phillippines (approx. 12-14 hour time difference ahead of North America) with his wife and infant (toddler), real life needs have superseded any WoW or webcomic work he would usually do.
Cromlech Jun 21st 2011 11:40AM
I recall Zach saying in a WRUP a while ago that he'd fallen out of love with the game. Haven't got a link, sorry.
Zhiva Jun 21st 2011 1:30PM
Zach Yonzon wrote for warlock class column for a while, then DADA curse got him.

Short queue today!
Have all the questions been answered?
Literaltruth Jun 21st 2011 11:15AM
Yes, they have.
Now it is time to question the answers.
Lee Woodworth Jun 21st 2011 11:51AM
My question for that answer regarding the moose mount is will they have a bite attack?
Wist Jun 21st 2011 12:22PM
A moose bit my sister once....
