So now when I do an instance the first time I can see that that ability that just hit me is going to make me a bomb, so I know to run away before a) wiping the team or b) tabbing it out to look it up beforehand anyways: awesome.

Blizz is just again making life easier by essentially implementing common add-ons into game. They did it a little with questhelper and deadlybossmods (slightly), they're just doing it again. It's just compiling the stuff you look for anyways into one place, built in.
