Reading through the complaints of these guilds, it's absolutely amazing just how disconnected their arguments are from reality."Only high-end guilds will benefit from this information anyway, everyone else just uses wowhead or tankspot." It's funny because at least half of the people I've played with have no idea what resources exist or they don't bother using them. "Look how exciting the first few kills of heroic Lich King were, people were so mystified. These people can't possibly get excited now that they know what Ragnaros does." Lets face it, most high end guilds care more about being first in the race than discovering things. Plus, you can't really compare the two because the Lich King wasn't even tested on the PTR and no real data existed on him until the patch was released. "Since we know what the abilities are, there's no discovery left. Discovery is taken away from us." Absolute BS. There's no indication where things spawn, nothing saying that one add should die before the other, etc. Almost every bit of this information was available through data-mining, and for the most part these guilds had strategies ready to go well before the boss was even available. Hell, even Heroic Lich King would have been down faster if it wasn't for the massive disparity between gear available and the tuning of the fight. At best, this will save high-end guilds a few hours of raiding per boss when working on it."People will be able to jump in too quickly into the raid, that's not right." There's nothing wrong with more competition.
