It doesn't concern me, but if it's such a big deal for the cutting edge guilds, I like the idea that the Dungeon Journal 'unlocks' only after a realm first kill has been done. For the very first raiders that attempt a raid, they are given nothing. Once some raid group has managed to down a boss as a realm first, then the Dungeon Journal is unlocked for the rest.

Wouldn't that appease everyone?
