Being a hunter meself, the only time I've pulled without a tank is when someone else decides to shake hands with a seemingly benevolent npc whose only crime is having its name show up in red... and its single-minded desire to kill us all. Diplomacy roll failed with a natural 1! I either pull to the tank or my pet via MD or I pull it to myself to trap. And all that failing? Go go gadget deterrence tank! Hey, it works on Chimaeron.
