Season 10 PVP armor sets preview

Season 10 PVP will begin one week after season 9 ends, after the winners from the previous season are tabulated, and titles and drakes are awarded. Blizzard cautions PVP players who might think that they are eligible for PVP end-of-season rewards not to faction or realm transfer until the tabulation is completed -- it might screw with the numbers and ruin your chances.
Check out all of the new season 10 armor sets at the WoW community site.

I like how all (almost all?) are just upgraded versions of last season, warrior is a little bit of a neon light show, but over all, I really like these sets.

The PvP gear looking like upgrades after each season was a trend that started back in Wrath and reset at the start of Cataclysm. I like it allot more than the color swap thing they did in BC. Apparently they're taking it a step further this expansion and making the armor sets 20% more glowy each season.

I can see what pvp will be like at the end of Cata.
"What is that?"
"It's a purple light! It's a mage!!!"
"What's the rainbow?"
"A pissed off warrior heading right at you."
Hught Jun 24th 2011 10:29AM
I'm on board as long as a Warriors charge and Heroic Leap literally leave rainbows behind.

Us Death Knights need to calm down on the horns...
There isn't going to be any more room.
GhostWhoWalks Jun 24th 2011 1:24AM
The next step will be combining tier set looks; we'll be covered in horns with CROWNS on them. SO AWESOME.
fallenphoenix Jun 24th 2011 9:46AM
The DK one looks like the current murloc-madness hunter pve set had babies with a bull...
splodesondeath Jun 23rd 2011 10:37PM
Warrior and Hunter are pretty sweet looking.
The DK horns are obviously an ironic twist on the ancient association of horns with virility - ironic because they are zombies and thus, sterile.
Jason Jun 23rd 2011 10:42PM
Quite generic looking, definitely not keeping with the PvE gear's theme :P
Aceman67 Jun 23rd 2011 10:48PM
The Druid one is what Tier 12 should have been.
Angrycelt Jun 24th 2011 5:22AM
What, and give up that sweet giant block of poorly carved wood look?
Hey Blizz, if the armor's gonna suck, give me back my tree form all the time.
(but yeah, I dig the PvP set)
woecip Jun 23rd 2011 10:52PM
The warrior feet look like ski boots or something orthapedic old person shoe.
devilsei Jun 23rd 2011 11:04PM
dual-wielding two-handers will do that to your health.
Andrew Jun 23rd 2011 11:12PM
OH GOD, THE PALADINS HAVE TURNED INTO OOD!
Andrew Jun 23rd 2011 11:14PM
Also, is that enough green fire for you, Warlocks?
Aaron Jun 24th 2011 10:54AM
You can never have too much green fire. ; )
Interficio Jun 23rd 2011 11:13PM
There needs to be a new DK look and not recycling the same idea from wotlk with the stupid horns!!!!
devilsei Jun 23rd 2011 11:19PM
But the death knights, as mentioned above, are sterile!
They gotta compensate somehow.
Arrohon Jun 24th 2011 2:15AM
What is cooler than a horned skull? DKs must have skulls so the horns are mandatory!
Dreyja Jun 23rd 2011 11:25PM
OOohhh... Me Rikey the hunter gear. I'll be getting it the season AFTER it drops but I can look forward to it.
