Season 10 PVP armor sets preview

Season 10 PVP will begin one week after season 9 ends, after the winners from the previous season are tabulated, and titles and drakes are awarded. Blizzard cautions PVP players who might think that they are eligible for PVP end-of-season rewards not to faction or realm transfer until the tabulation is completed -- it might screw with the numbers and ruin your chances.
Check out all of the new season 10 armor sets at the WoW community site.

PvP Season 9 will soon be coming to an end. Players on the battlefields and arenas of World of Warcraft have proven their mettle in glorious combat, and are ready for new challenges and more powerful rewards.
Here's a look at the gear that the most accomplished PvP competitors will be sporting in Season 10.

Hunters be doin' da Mardi Gras!
Ebrion Jun 24th 2011 8:31AM
The hunders look like Sekhmet from Ronin Warriors

i am in LOVE with the mage gear. too bad it's something i will never ever get, because i would be HORRIBLE at arena :' (

The hunter set reminds me of Shredder.
Cetha Jun 24th 2011 1:03AM
Is it just me or as the life of WoW contiunes these sets have become...well for lack of a better word, boring.

Where can I get the man-nail polish, as seen on the Rogue screenshots?
Arrohon Jun 24th 2011 2:08AM
I might just get rid of a character to make a DK...
Arrohon Jun 24th 2011 2:12AM
I'd like to see these next to season 9 so I can see the differences side to side. I don't pvp so I don't really know what season 9 looks like.
Murdertime Jun 24th 2011 2:52AM
That rogue gear is certainly in an intimidating shade of brown.
Kesely Jun 24th 2011 7:24AM
Always dese humie models (okay, da shaman be a plus, but dat pointy-eared druid nullifies it)... Even dese overcoloured armour pieces would look way betta on a slim, elegant, just-plainly-awesome troll. Not ta mention an ideal world where leada looks like leada, metal like metal, not everyt'ing like futuristic plastic assault-troopa suit.

I like the design of the warlock one, but the color reminds me of one of those lime-flavor drinks you'd buy from a very cheap shop, and then later regret as your tongue turns green for three days.

I like the Rouge set. It's pretty subdued, which is good for a class that sticks to the shadows, and there are no gems on it like the new PVE tier, just a bit of flame. I also like the non-symmetrical shoulders. Overall, well done, especially compared with some of the other sets (yes, Warriors, that comment is directed at you). :P
IrishBornAndBred Jun 24th 2011 6:41AM
the dk one reminds alot of donnie darko
Loradio Jun 24th 2011 7:33AM
They need to create a quality control department, that goes back through all of the old armour models and pics out the similarities. Then they could issue a report to the art/developer departments with three huge shinny red letters on the front.
WTF
And then rip them a new one for not doing anything original.

Paladin looks like a Robot Master from Megaman...
babywhiz Jun 24th 2011 8:52AM
Aww. I'm gonna miss having my belly show on the Druid set. S9 makes me feel pretty...oh so pretty.....

"Here's a look at the gear that the most accomplished PvP competitors will be sporting in Season 10."
Does this mean these are the 2200 rated sets? If so, I wonder what the unrated sets look like. Going by the Paladin gear, it seems they've changed the color palette since the March datamine. In any case, I wonder what the "other" set looks like...

Aww mages get their Big Purpls Dress back! Guess they'll be walking along with the hunters for Mardi Gras :P
Also - what's up with the rotten onion look for priest? And warriors are power rangers now apparently.
The rogue set may not be amazing but at least we don't have lights on our shoulders anymore, I'd rather have the muted brown than Ali Baba in Vegas.

So do I get bonus rage as a warrior seeing as how my face is now on fire?
