It really does show how far out some people are willing to take the game. I known a lot of people who when they had 1k gold and up they bought it.
Seeing comments like this makes me think why the gold selling business isn't gone.
People don't play the game for gold, and some tend to spend it on lvling professions, alts, and such that they don't have a lot of surplus.
Now I have known people to control the AH and never dare touch a gold seller, but when you have all that gold and selling items for 20k+ really need to take a look at what you are doing. I know on the twisting nether server, the market was so screwed up that literally it was the two riches people buying each others items to sell for more, and had a lot of consumers buy gold to pay for their over cost items.
I caught a person once selling a blue mace ilvl325 for 1.8k and was like "Why would you want to buy that when you can do CoC and get a better mace and money in the process."
It is fake currency and i feel better with the less of it I have.
