Some folks noted that no new patch data is being pushed out right now with the servers down, and frankly, I had noticed that the background downloader has not been active this cycle too. Did anybody get any data pushed out early? Is anybody getting new patch data now? Or are some people suffering from broken clients?
Blizzard has said that it's patch day. There's gotta be some new data. Has anybody seen it?

I just went to www.worldofwarcraft.com and got this:
"We’ll be back soon!
The Blizzard family of websites is currently undergoing maintenance to improve your browsing experience. Thank you for your patience!"
Maybe it's rolling out shortly? The site was up an hour ago, I checked for any official word on patch release. Their twitter was last updated 6hrs ago so IDK!

If memory serves, 4.1's patch had a whole lot of data for 4.2; and if you havent notoced the background downloader then its doin its job (bein in the background and all!) I do remember mousing over my latency bar to check my fps after I put my new cards in about 2 weeks ago (shameless plug for the gtx 570!!) and saw that it was infact downloading something.
Basically. Yes it is patch day. The question is; can we just walk all up in sulfuron spire? Or do we have to 'unlock' it with all these dailies!!

I had it downloading patch data on the background downloader a week ago. Probably happened then and no one noticed
