Fail link is fail after all.

I guess they're proving themselves to be better than that MMO gaming company that shall not be named who introduced $80 monocles to their cash shop with subscription fees of late. Sparkle Ponies (as much as I detest them) and first 20 levels for free is far much more useful and meaningful. Just saying.

Does this mean that Silvermoon and whaterverthenameofthedraneicity will not longer be portioned off from the rest of the world?
Marshal Jun 28th 2011 8:25PM
Well unless there's a new starter for those races, then I don't see why it should be.
jonham013 Jun 28th 2011 8:30PM
You realise that not even the Cataclysm could bring those two capitals out from behind their loading screens right? Silvermoon and Eastern Plaguelands are like two different universes. Have a look at Silvermoon somtime, in fact, check out that whole area, its HUGE. I'd rate it as bigger than Stormwind (After walking through both for an age and a half.)
If you ever played Halo, theres a bunch of opportunities for you to go running off the scripted path. What do you find? Cardboard cutouts of trees. These two area's are like that, everything we don't see, doesn't exist. Not only that, but it doesn't exist in a completely different way to how the Old World didn't exist.
Its unfortunate they didn't put the coding in to fly there when they did the rest of BC I feel.

Nobody ever seems to talk about how http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=5288#comments is a reference to Steely Dan. Too bad, so sad because it is an amazing song.

Did you post that wearing your tin foil hat, or just talking out of your ass?

i do agree that cataclysm hasn't really helped up WoW's stock. but i wouldnt say it has necessarily hurt it either. the fact that WoW is already 6 years old probably has more to do with the hurt than the expansion itself. if blizz still has another expansion planned for WoW, it will really need to be ground breaking.
jonham013 Jun 28th 2011 9:00PM
Is a term like that really necessary? Not only are you dishonouring the memories of people who were dragged into a cult, but you are also being quite rude.
I understand that you are using a euphemism for 'sheep' used in the sense that people who think that Blizzard and World of Warcraft are doing well are 'followers' refusing to study the evidence and just going along with the 'party line.'
However, you have given no evidence as to why this is a further indication that Expansion number 3 has hurt the WoW Franchise in any way.
Personally, whenever I see someone like you, I can only conclude that you have a persecution complex from being so 'enlightened'. Are you hoping for WoW to fail, so you can be one of the 'few' who are playing the 'dying game' which then makes you cool in your zany reverse subculture?
You know what, I have no clue, but I do know that you're quite rude and I don't appreciate it.

@ Clericorpse
Since hate has robbed you of reason, let me explain basic marketing.
In Cataclysm Blizzard completely re-did the 1-60 content.
I will wait while you try and grasp why.
Here is a hint, new players are introduced to the game in those zones.
Whether you have understood or not, I shall continue.
This promotion is designed to introduce new players to the real strength of Cataclysm, the 1-60 content.
That way they can happily jettison whiney, bitter, tools like you and replace you with five new customers.

sweet, an easy way to get into raids!
pedge Jun 28th 2011 10:05PM
It's disgusting how this site is completely becoming an infomercial for Blizzard.
Whomever makes a solid point on anything negative are down rated beyond belief.
Yet have a human centipede mouth to ass for the company it's blue highlights all the way.
"Welcome! It's a good day to be one of the few remaining human beings who isn't playing World of Warcraft. "
Holy crap. really? Make Billy Mays go away.

Never ceases to amaze me how people who say they left the game keep making posts. Bitter troll is bitter.
