The Daily Quest: Looking sharp

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
Patch 4.2 is looking pretty sharp -- I don't know about everyone else out there, but I think this is, hands down, the smoothest release of a major content patch that I've ever seen. And what a patch it is. The new quest chains are fun for the moment, dailies don't look like they are going to get boring for me any time soon, and Firelands is very pretty, if full of all kinds of red.
Speaking of looking sharp, today we've got a few posts from around the blogosphere regarding looking good, among other things.
Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.

Just wanted to announce that the blog formerly known as "OddCraft" has branched out to become "The Land of Odd" ( http://landofodd.wordpress.com/ ), focusing on the same brand of hilarious Azerothian weirdness as before but now also adding video games, animation and other nerdy things into the mix! Check it out. :D

The new quest with Thrall was pretty epic. Was nice to see they gave Aggra a more feminine sounding voice. Probably the best thing so far were the ports back to SW/Org from the world tree in Hyjal. The new dailies were kind of bland in my opinion and only 2 a day was kind of a let down. Hoping things pick up or at least when you unlock the next 2 you have 4 or something.

This is my thoughts on 4.2 before actually playing the game. Once I have a bit more time invested into the new content, more thoughts will come.

Here is my problem with all of this and why I quit. A long time ago classes were actually different. If you wanted to be a tank with high HP you were a Druid. If you wanted to have good multi-target aggro you were a Paladin. For good single target you were a Warrior, and if you wanted good dps as a tank you were a DK. Now they want all tanks to be created equal. So instead of four different tanking classes bringing different things to the table WoW just needs to have on tanking class called a Deathpalywaruid. After all that is what is happening to a game I once greatly enjoyed.

I don't know what your comment is in response to, but here are my thoughts.
I was quite frustrated on my prot warrior in BC before I got Shockwave that I couldn't AoE tank (like in Shattered Halls), and I was jealous of how paladins could do it so easily.
I'm glad that tanking strengths have since been equalized between the classes. I now play all 4 tanking classes, and they each feel different to play, without feeling like any of them are lacking. If things had stayed like they used to be, I would have quit.
