i would like to see an article and discussion about this:
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2743685475?page=1#15
i am in the camp that feels vehemently that the pet stance changes ‘broke’ the class. this is not hyperbole. read the thread (and there are a couple other good ones currently going on the blizz forums as well) to get a sense of the subtle yet critical implications to hunter gameplay that have resulted from this poor decision.
i’m thoroughly dismayed by these changes. adding “Assist” while leaving the other three stances intact (pre 4.2 in other words) would make the most elegant solution in my opinion and restore playability of the class. Especially for BMs.
we need to rally around this issue as hunters/players... restore the pre-4.2 "Defensive" and "Aggressive" stances; and sure, add in "Assist" too if you like.

Sorry, the smartass in me can't put it down:
>...and two different sets of wonderful hosts...
Were there other hosts that were ... less than wonderful? I admit, "wonderful" is a super superlative, but it opens the door to distinction. Or discrimination (careful judgement, rather than "showing bias").

"I admit, "wonderful" is a super superlative, but it opens the door to distinction."
Then I don't understand the nitpick. Don't they *want* there to be a distinction between these hosts and other potential hosts?

There were only two sets of hosts ever for this show, and each group was awesome. There is nothing to read in-between the lines here.

No worries, either of you. I intended no aspersions upon any potential "other hosts". And thank you, Adam for clarifying that there indeed have only been two sets of hosts. Perhaps some day wowinsider can have the previous hosts as guests (perhaps, "again", for all I know) on one of the shows.

Hehe... "Bus Shock" got mentioned. Lol, never forget.

Thrall questline:
Ysera: "We gather here today to perform a ritual to restore the world tree"
45 minutes later
Thrall, having completely forgotten the ritual: "Aggra, want to get married?"

I haven't listened to the show yet, but I wanted to say "THANK YOU" as well. Y'all have the only WoW podcast I listen to for a reason: I've never found any other one anywhere near as good. ^_^ Keep up the awesome work and I'll be laughing along with you every week.
Obligatory post-praise request: any chance of getting Mr. Belt and/or Mr. Van Allen on the show?

Regarding "they needed to centralize people in one capital" ... wasn't their excuse for giving the Worgen a tree in Darnassus rather than a district in Stormwind because "they wanted to spread people out"?
The real problem with it is that there are no portals or points vendors in the other cities. That's the advantage SW and Org have over the other cities, the reason people stick in those cities.
I'd pick Ironforge to be revamped - looking at Grim Batol it's so obvious how cool a redesigned IF could be. But then I'd also like to see Darnassus redesigned to look like an actual tree, rather than a stump with a forest on top. Flying Exodar would be pretty awesome too, Draenei need lovin'.
I really can't wait to see what Blizzard comes up with for Titan. Their worldbuilding can be kinda hit or miss, but it's never really boring.
WRT the Silithid in Thousand Needles; those gorram bugs are *still alive* in 10KN. They *breathe underwater*. I am so annoyed by that, I wanted Silithus to flood in the Cataclysm ... and nothing happened.
As for Westfall being still on fire; *so is Stormwind*. Gahhh
I can't find a third "Stormrage" on Wowhead, but there *is* a "Nessa Shadowsong" - she's the fishing supplies vendor in Rut'theran.
Aaaand "Go'el" means "Redeemer"? Dead God in Heaven! Can he be any *more* Metzen's Mary Sue? What's next, will he get crucified for our sins? I'm getting really sick of Thrall TBH - more and more he's becoming Superman or even Anne Rice's Armand, where every story told in that universe has to be about SuperThrall Christ, in that it has to address why SuperThrall Christ isn't solving any problem that exists with his Kryptonian Jesus Shaman powers. That's not good storytelling; in fact, it's *damaging* to good storytelling.
At this point, the best thing we can hope for for WoW is that Thrall gets a heroic death. I doubt it'll happen though, Metzen loves his Mary Sue too much.
