Back at the tail-end of Vanilla, in September 2006, I was living in San Antonio, Texas. I had just moved there from Washington in July because of my work and I didn't know anybody outside of my co-workers, so a lot of my nights were spent just surfing the internet and whatnot. I had a few friends from back home that I stayed in contact with and they had gotten into WoW. I was at a store one weekend around my birthday, and I was looking for something new to pass some time and saw the box on the shelf. I had been interested in WoW for a while, but never had the computer to be able to run it... plus I was weary of the reputation it had as being addicting.
Needless to say I took the plunge... and got hooked. 4 months I was playing all the time when I wasn't at work, and it was taking a toll on me. So I took a break, only playing here and there for the next 3 years or so until ICC was fully released and RS had just been released (last July). Been raiding non-stop since then.
