I had loved MMO's for a few years before WoW came out. I had a feeling there would be enough people playing it to make it a viable one for at least a year or two so I grabbed it and gave it a try in December 2004. The quest-based leveling got me hooked quickly; that was a remarkable and fantastic innovation at the time. I just wish I had started with a class that could dps, heal or tank back then rather than going for the class I liked the lore and idea of.
