So let's just reiterate something here...
The "next expansion leak" everyone is going to be/has been talking about in guild chat? It's a fake.
Don't be That Guy who says it's not a fake. Because it's not real.

There's not. I wouldn't at all be surprised if this was implemented at some point in the future; it's a very requested feature.

We don't know exact numbers, but I'd be very surprised if the majority of players did not choose Hyjal. The underwater system can take a bit of getting used to, and people generally are going to stick to what they're comfortable with.
I also run into a lot more people in Hyjal when I'm leveling my alts than I do in Vashj'ir.

Totally. Balsamic vinegar, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella cheese -- amazing. I actually just had this the other day, with some fresh cheese from Cosetta's in St. Paul, Minn. Damn good stuff.

My main focus has been dailies and getting VP capped using LFD. Trash farming (no gear yet, but I am almost Honored with the Avengers). The guild took a look at Shannox, hoping to down him this week.

Daily's erryday and drying my tears over the lack of Enhance Shaman love, really blizz.. an agility sword in the craftables and a strength axe?
Oh and just one weapon after you clear the first four bosses.
Unless you get that random mace that floats around and could drop off anything..

As a healer, I wish they had more of the "heal wounded players" type quests. I hope they continue and expand the variety of quests type to fit the three role types instead of leaning on the "Kill X of Y" stuff.

We're hammering down on 25, and just did a 10-man version last night because we kinda had people, and we kinda didn't. We had Shannox down already, so we tried Beth, Rhyno-bitch, and Lolrazor.
Let's just say we one-shot Beth'tilac, wasted a few attempts on Rhyno-bitch (We got him down though) and had to break up the raid after a couple attempts into Alysrazor.
I gotta say... 10-mans are hilariously easy this tier.

We're 6/7. The fights are all really fun, IMO, & I'm looking forward to heroics, if only rag would stop killing us so much.

With my veteran 85 since Cata started, and my fresh 85 since like... the day after patch day, I have been tackling those dailies. I haven't been much of a dungeon runner recently, opting instead to level my Gobby Priest. But now that she's caped I am slowly working my way back into heroics on my Tauren Druid between farming mats. I'll hopefully be getting into teh raiding again soon, but with my rather small availability window that is all on my guild getting group three rolling again.

I am in a non-raiding guild in the backwaters of Cairne....so yeah, only Firelands I am seeing is trash pugs. This server sucks for progression.
But I am running the Hyjal Dailies hubs on 2 characters. Other than that, the grind for more VP in dungeon finder. Oh grouping with trolls to fight trolls in the land of trolls so I can get better than troll gear. Trolls.
Still feeling like a noob when I tank on my 6mo pally.

I have no interest in raiding so I'm just doing the dailies in the Firelands and Hyjal. So when do we see some sign of our tree then ?

Our very casual guild has had a couple of attempts - we wiped a lot on Beth'tilac primarily because we're just not quite geared enough, though we were getting close once we handled the strategy. We'll almost certainly drop Shannox on the next attempt but we ran out of time.
All in all, we're at our usual rate of achingly slow progression that will probably see us clear most of it on normal mode, eventually.

To answer my own topic:
I've completed the Thrall questline, and done enough dailies to get to the Molten Front. I've been slacking terribly on my VP grind, because I dislike the troll Heriocs. My guild's progression team is 6/7, and I got invited in for attempts on Rag last night, but no kill.
My raid team is hoping to start getting some kills this week. So far, its only been a glorified rep grind in Firelands, but we've gotten several nice loot drops and craftable plans.

I got started on the Firelands dailies on my main (a human paladin), but I've decided to just hold off for a couple weeks. I got especially frustrated with the quest to heal the Wounded Hyjal Defenders (is that what they're called). First, there were not enough of the relevant mobs compared to the number of people trying to do the quest, which was making it take seemingly forever to complete the quest. Second, in the same manner that herbalists hate tauren druids who can steal herbs out from under them, and skinners hate worgen who can steal skins, I was repeatedly getting roflpwned by druids (and to a lesser extent, priests) with their plethora of instant-cast heals. All of my own heals (aside from Lay on Hands, which I'm not going to use on a quest mob) have a cast time, and over and over I would be in the middle of casting only to have a druid run up in Travel Form and toss an instant-cast heal on the mob and get credit for it instead of me. I can imagine classes with no heals at all having even more of a problem with this. This is one of those things I think Blizzard should have foreseen. It could have been easily averted by simply making the healing salve the questgiver gives you "instant cast", which would level the playing field for everybody.
Of course, it would also be nice if people had manners and didn't run up on mobs somebody else is already working on, but I've been playing long enough to know better than to expect that.
