Have you ever found bored NPCs?

Have seen them fairly often, though it was in TBC that first stood out.

Had flown into , a small outpost in the south of Hellfire Peninsula, when I heard the following exchange between two bored guards stood near a catapult.

"Thrallmar Grunt says- You know, I think we can hit Honour Hold from here.
Thrallmar Grunt says- If General Krakork found out, he'd eat us alive. Don't.
Thrallmar Grunt says- Ah! We can tell him Hagash stumbled into it and fired it accidentally!
Hagash the Blind says- I'm blind, you stupid sowspawn, not deaf. Don't even think about it.
Thrallmar Grunt sighs."

Stood there a fair while to see if there were any other exchanges, but nothing was said for the 20 mins or so I stood there.

See also, some of the Falcon Watch guards stood near the Blood Elf Ballista - they say things like;
"Do you know how to fire this?"
"Er, what actually are we aiming for?"
"Do we have any ammunition for these anyway?"
