It's simply a pacing mechanic. It draws it out a bit for the people who are really gung ho about it and do the dailies every day. For those that come later, this speeds it up a bit. I wouldn't be surprised to see the next several "goals" get easier after they are completed by boosting the amount of "bonus" marks too.It's how dailies are designed. The whole point behind them is to control the time it takes to accomplish anything. Previously, all repeatable quests gave extremely small rewards like 10 rep or something similar. It took a long time to finish any of these grinds. Daily quests allow Blizzard to make the overall process longer while making each individual effort smaller.Considering your constant complaints about not having the time or guild to do anything, I'd think that would appeal to you, Sam.
