For all the people screaming that Blizz needs to 'do more or i quit', plenty of other companies facing a snafu like this wouldn't even bother with compensation of any kind.

And these are the same companies that are bankrupt, and/or their games have been shut down. See: Star Wars Galaxies (shut down), Faction Earth, only a matter of time before Aion is shuttered.

But keep on thinking companies, in this economy, can ignore players. They'll learn the following phrase pretty darn quick: Chapter 11.
