Yeah, the Frigid Frostling dropped. I saw it twice in one run and once in another. Remembered to do "gz" in chat though I was green with envy ;-)

I was feeling the same way. Never saw the pet drop at all, this year or last. And I'm including other people in the party who opened their reward bag before dropping group. Ah well, I've seen the pet lurking around the bank and AH so I know it exists :) but the drop rate is pretty abysmal. Not sure why Blizz makes it so rare. If it was a mount I could understand, but for a useless collection of animated pixels that Blizzard artists and modelers are presumably proud of, you'd think they'd want a few more people to be able to show one off. /shrug

It dropped.. which is more than I can say for the staff. I admit I didn't run it every day, but in the days I did run it - both toons got the frigit frostling and a cloak that fit their spec.. until of course thrall gave them a new one.

I don't know if people that got the staff just didn't open their bag in the group or what, but I didn't see one staff in my bag or in someone elses.

I didn't see either, staff or pet. All I got was my spell cloak, repeatedly I might add.
