Glyph of imp use to make imp do 40% damage instead of 20% - so it was competitive with that bug only when going against affli and demo.
I'm guessing the hotfix didnt go thro last time so it was patched in 4.2.
(Those that dont remember, glyph of imp was bugged so it did 20% dmg increase on all pets but for imp it had 20% from bug then 20% from real effect so going to 40% )

Affli is fine, destro is clunky imo and its sadly hasnt been best spec for while. It IS viable but I prefer affli and good damage.

It could also be from that fact that combat logs changed AGAIN in 4.2 so world of logs, recount, combat text addons are totally screwed and buggy.
Also pet damage is very important so if you have pet running around on assistance you need to micro manage it more sadly like others said.

No need to roll pink casting robe wizard just for this! Just go affli or demo depending on fights and you should do fine.
