You gotta love a good collaboration. Sands of Uldum is the combined effort of Sharm, Letomi, CraigthePatient, and Tyranno. It's a mixed-genre music video featuring a little bit of harmony, a little bit of melody, and a little bit of rap.
Sands of Uldum has a lot going on in both the music and video departments. The lyrics and music play with innuendo and allegory, while the video mirrors that intricacy. This video was especially interesting to me because it felt experimental and fresh; the team was trying something new and attempting to push outside the usual comfortable boundaries.
Your opinions of the movie will no doubt vary; I can see why it might not appeal to some readers. That being said, I salute the team for its effort and look forward to what future collaborations might bring.

I actually found this entertaining. The work put into the machinima was pretty awesome as well. The singers/writers were creative and while contemporary still fun.
The song was ok. The singing was in some parts fabulous, and in other parts, unrehearsed.
However, this is machinima. The singing is completely secondary. The machinima parts were exceptionally well done. I love the way each of the characters were actually given character. The fact that the undead was constantly cannibalizing anything it could find to cannibalize was a nice touch.
Well-produced video, but I feel that the voices didn't mesh particularly well. Good singers with nice voices, certainly, but that doesn't necessarily result in a good harmony when put together. With the addition of lyrics that seemed to really struggle to fit the music (too many one-syllable words stretched to fit longer verses and pauses to fill the gaps)... I'd say the end result is somewhat hit and miss.
Ok can we all agree we wish we didnt have to wear gear in uldum the sand just gets in all manner of bad places and god dammit my plate dosent have relfective coating so it gets pretty fraking hot in here , this is the only time i envy mages and thier thin cooling dresses.
I enjoyed the style of music, and appreciate the hard work the contributors put in, but it feels too sexual for my comfort level. Innuendo is one thing, but.. I don't know, just didn't feel comfortable.
Also, I'm pretty sure Uldum is pronounced Ul-doom.
Really? I found it to be rather well done, actually. It wasn't LOL LOOK NAKED ELVES but it wasn't too shy to let go either; and, hey, I chuckled at it.
Also: I pronounce it as they did in the video. But, then, I pronounce Halfus as Hal-fuss and Surwich as Sur-itch (i.e. like Norwich) so I could be totally off the mark.
Yeah, usually this stuff doesn't bother me, but this one did. I don't want to be a prude about it. I thought they did a good job, it just didn't agree with me and I wanted to express it. I am glad that you were able to enjoy it, and I'm sure others agree as well.
I still pronounce it as in the video, but unless it switched, it is Ul-doom.

Hey, popular music, can you please stop trying to shoehorn a rap verse into every song?

Agreed, the audio component of the piece wasn't particularly good (how I miss Azerothian 6) but the video was incredibly well done.

I could listen to Sharm sing the phone book.

At least Gigi isn't in it.

The lyrics are good because they actually have some lore and it's not about PVPGURLZ, CRITS and LOLPWNUXDDDD.
And I agree, the rap part was horrible, except the bit where the DK talks about Lands of Mystery.

I liked most of the video until it hit the misogynistic middle rap bit. Like really? Was that totally necessary?

I want to get "burried" in the Sands of Uldum.
Silly Pedobear face.
