Actually, I love Bioware and I love SW:KOTOR and I'm looking forward to the new game. I wouldn't pay 25 dollars sub fee for a game. I've bought every game Bioware's released since Jade Empire. I buy the DLC. But a sub fee to enjoy something is not a 'permanent' gain, unlike singleplayer games. You lose everything the minute you stop paying the sub fee. 300 dollars a year on a game that, assuming you got it for free and never had to buy the actual game, and assuming there are no paid expansions, is still too much. I play other games too. I buy other games, and I play other subscription base games. Any company who is stupid enough to gouge on subscription? Isn't going to keep players.
Fortunately, people can debate the quality of Bioware's games all they want, but Bioware is not stupid. They won't be charging more than WOW for each month and likely will be charging less.
As far as on topic, I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard does charge for this as a premium perk. It's just not worth it to me, personally, to pay for it.
