One thing I can suggest is a "Free-for-all" tab where people put lower level items they've created while leveling professions. Anyone can take anything, as long as they've contributed. If we wind up needing space, we take the items that have been there longest and auction or (more likely) vendor them, returning any gold to our bank. For end-game items, our guild uses the info tabs to set reasonable (but below market) prices for commonly sought items such as flasks, enchanting mats, and buff food. If you need something that's not on the list, our members ask an officer. Our only requirement is that you contribute something back to the bank, be it gold or materials. Our officer corp also keeps a close eye on the logs for each tab, (and the money log). If a player is taking out items without putting back, or is putting an unreasonably low amount of goods or gold back, we ask them to limit their requests until we've built back an acceptable reserve.
