The Daily Quest: Let's talk PVP
WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
PVP has been a big topic lately, what with the flub in transition from season to season. While patch 4.2 went off without a hitch, PVPers found themselves on the short end of the stick with point conversion being done a week before schedule. To top that all off, a new tier of PVP gear was introduced, also without warning. Blizzard's offered compensation to those affected, but that hasn't stopped people from talking about it.
Today, we've got a few posts we've collected from around the blogosphere regarding PVP in myriad forms, including the new set of PVP gear.

Oh, forgot, I would like to recommend a video I just watched on Youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJFlVdOLAqw - Foo Fighters singing, Night Elf Rogue female killing. It's pretty good.

The Art of Parody is greatly undervalued. It's like writing a sonnet or a haiku - the form and the pattern are pre-set. You have to fit your ideas into the format. And the artist (and his band) has a good handle on the voices qualities and singing (=speech) patterns of the various original singers. I'd nominate him for a Weird Al Parody Acheivement Award if there was one.

I actually interviewed him a few weeks ago over on World of WarCrafts, it's well worth the read: http://wow.joystiq.com/2011/06/09/world-of-warcrafts-darkpippis-warcraft-tunes/

Has anyone tried mashing the audio from this track to the video from Fall Out Boys?
I watched their version on Youtube and they do a big production number of not actually saying "Goddamned" when it is clearly part of the original lyrics. Smacks of cowardice if you ask me.

Once Blizzard fix Boomkins in PVP then we can talk about PVP.
