"Moonfire will now generate Lunar Energy when crossing from Solar to Lunar on the Eclipse bar."I don't play moonkin much, but I'm assuming this is bad?

I believe they had fixed the "sunfire spam spec" quite a while ago. This seems to me to be another way of compensating for the 'nerf', as well as trying to move further away from that playset. Afterall, if the ability in question gives power, it can no longer be spammed indefinitely.

No, they just nerfed a talent that wasnt that great to begin with before. Now this will cause our average dps to drop from high to either the low, or the lower side of the middle, since sunfire spam was simply a huge part of multi-target situations, and the only viable way for us to AoE. And now, we lose 10k+ dps on any situation where we had many targets to sunfire on.

Not necessarily bad, as before you could go from Lunar eclipse to Solar eclipse (as both the buffed and unbuffed Moonfire moved the eclipse bar toward Solar) and from Solar back to the middle. The reason is that Moonfire only pushed the bar toward Solar, regardless of which eclipse was next in the rotation. This hotfix makes Moonfire/Sunfire always push the eclipse bar toward the next eclipse.

A small step to put the balance back to balance. Not enough though, not nearly enough to put our fat chickin's dps back to the fun side.
