We need a new slash command:

I absolutely -love- the look of the orc in the first panel. [Giant's Seal of Approval]!

Mr. Orc needs to watch his blood pressure. ;)
I have some concerns with miss, "I'm not maternal so I'll smack some sense into this kid" taking care of the kids but we shall see. :D

Awesome artwork! I love the Orc Face of Outrage, and Mig's expression is priceless as well.
Somehow, Enarrai's explanation seems so very...Night Elvish. Bravo for a very fun installment this week!
Cadychan Jul 19th 2011 8:59PM
Night Elves are notoriously aloof. I mean, if you were once immortal, I guess you would have had the time to be extra-EXTRA-prepared for just about anything.
It would also give you ample time to work on your smarm.

heh. I could certainly see how the orc's reaction would be justified but I think that was a nice way of handling the "why didn't she..." question
Well done.
But does this mean we're getting near to the end of the story?

I think I know a few guards at Fort Triumph who might beg to differ with that "worth the trouble" assessment.

beautiful raging in that first panel, never seen someone blow up so epically, and if it was anyone, it would be an orc.
Jessica Ayala Jul 19th 2011 10:27PM
I want the 3rd panel as a background. LOVE that face!

Wow, horde gettin' trolled by an NE. Too sweet.

Great comic so far, sad that it feels like it may end soon.
On a slightly related note, has anyone ever told you how much you drawing style resembles Osamu Tezuka, one of my favorite artists?
Cadychan Jul 20th 2011 1:37AM
I honestly don't think I deserve a compliment of that caliber. Tezuka-san is the father of manga...I just draw online WoW comics.
Thank you so much for the kind words, though. :)

While i think its a great comic, I don't think her style is similar to Osamu Tezuka's. At least when compared to Black Jack or Astro Boy anyway. I feel several of his characters are a little more...cartoony? Big headed, large nosed, round... oh, and some lack toes! XD. Needless to say, I'm not a real big fan of his style, but i do love the stories. Black Jack is one of my favorite series! Also, it cannot be argued: He was the father of manga!

I keep on seeing a squeal to this with the grown up girls, the human being a warrior (emulating her orc hero) and Dranaie being a shaman (cause she liked the fire elemental ^.^)

Oh...
Wy didnt I think this way when it landed?

Nice logic there, elf. Let's risk the kids' lives trekking through a region where death waits at every turn--and you think yourself responsible enough to be a parent?
