This is exactly why I don't play on a PvP server. As fun as this chaos would be on an occasional basis, I wouldn't want to have my own questing disrupted regularly.
I just hope you don't get any nasty comments for this article, though. Some people seem way to put off by PvP occurring on a PvP server.

Yeah, I agree. In fact, I played on Azgalor-US from BC until Cata when I finally moved servers because my guild died. And the only reason that I rolled on a PvP server is because my friends were there. The Isle was so frustrating without a guild group running the dailies with you. I'm glad I am not there for molten front.
Madsushi (C. Christian) the former guild Caligulas Pleasures salutes you, but I don't miss you.

I don't pvp much, just some Tol Barad and the occasional bg. Sometimes, I'll participate in a world battle going one, but I don't pvp much, it just isn't my cup of tea. People on pvp servers who complain about pvp are just irritating.

Same here. I found this article immensely interesting and amusing, but I'd hate to have to make every quest a stress test or else a gridlocked affair.
Though I am curious; rather than camping the ramp to the sanctuary, slowing all their progression, wouldn't it make more sense for them to simply go and do their quests as a group at that point? I doubt a rogue, no matter how good, is going to take on an entire group of players (whether grouped up in an official party or not).

Same here "this is why I didn't roll on a pvp server" coupled with "but you did, so ha ha!".
And if they grouped they could coordinate and move as a force united!
But, from my BG experience that can't happen often. :-p

Agreed! I don't have any toons on a pvp server for the exact reason also.
The chaos IS fun, once in a while. I play on a pve server (Terokkar-US horde side), but there are still people who enjoy pvp and flag themselves on purpose.. or don't realize they've never un-flagged from a previous encounter. One time, one of my guildies (a troll shaman) found himself camped by an Alliance shaman and a DK. He put into guild chat just a little "hey anyone up for some molten front pvp?". I hadn't done my dailies yet, pvp isn't always my cup of tea, but I'm a healer and a paladin (though I'd been in ret spec at the time) so I figured I might be able to help. He'd found a random mage that was helping him, when I got there we decided that since I was already in dps spec, that he'd go resto and I'd "attack" while he kept me alive. It was FUN! The fighting was contained to the 5 of us, so no one else doing dailies was affected by our scuffle. Eventually the other shaman left, and the mage we were running with, so it was just my guildie and I and the DK that just wouldn't quit no matter how much time he spent on the floor. :) Eventually, he ran off. I hadn't even realized we'd be hitting the quest mobs required, or that any of us had been healing wounded soldiers or planting vines. When I went to say hey lets finish our quests, he said.. hey look lets turn in!. So for like a half hour, this little bit of 'world pvp' if you could even call it that, was fun.. but not something I'd want to have to worry about/focus on every time I set foot in a daily quest hub, or for that matter any zone that is shared territory.
*side note, I realize this is a rogue column, and as I've stated I'm not a rogue (but I have friends that are!).. but I the title of the article caught my eye. :)

Personally quests for me are simple distractions for the downtime I am not actively dungeoning, raiding, or pvping.
If someone wanted to give me a run for my money or pick a fight when I am doing something simply for repair money, I am simply very happy to oblige.

PvP server or not- never knew Chase was #that guy. Make any excuses you want ur a weak piece of _____ if you have to attacking someone questing or engaged in an enemy to defeat them. Downrank all you want I for one will not be supporting any douchery. I like world PvP but I do have some sense of honor. /sad.

I started playing on a PvP server because a friend played there. Now, we are both kinda trapped their by a) our large number of high level alts, b) the other person. ...
